At first glance this 1996 Ford Ranger Dallas Cowboys Special Edition can get most fans to stop and look. Those that do are in for a real treat for this Texas Truck has been heavily modified. The truck has been graced with Dallas Cowboys autographs all over inside and out. It is truly a jaw dropping experience for most fans when they first see the truck and owner Ira Groom likes to hand out Dallas Cowboys cards to kids as he points out players signatures on the truck. There are now over 150 Dallas cowboys autographs on the truck and just a few list below. |

The bed cover has the most player autographs and fans can walk around the truck and take a close look. Calvin Hill, Bob Lilly, Mel Renfro, Charlie Waters, Michael Irvin, Michael Downs, Tony Dorsett, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Walt Garrison, Herschel Walker, Randy White, Bill Bates, Robert Newhouse, Dave Manders, Cliff Harris, Jay Novacek, Billy Joe Dupree, Mark Stepnoski, Tony Hill, Larry Brown, Bob Breunig, Tom Rafferty, Daryl Johnston, Chuck Howley, Jethro Pugh, Crazy Ray, Rowdy and even Jerry Jones signed the bed cover. Only a couple of notable players have eluded Ira from obtaining there autographs. For one reason or another Troy Aikman and Don Meredith have never signed the truck and hopefully someday it will happen. Dallas Cowboys players have a huge following and the truck is not an item that you can take inside to a normal autograph signings event. Players have at times gone out of there way to sign the truck and Ira is forever grateful. Ira allows all fans to take pictures and see all they want, only rule is do not touch the truck. |
